Net Worth Week 17

Gentle Readers,

This week was so busy, but there has been steady progress on many fronts. I did an all day training on Wednesday that will help my business both by what I learned and by whom I met and networked with. This was really excellent and gave my heart quite a boost. It definitely impacted my work week though. I got 37.5 hours in four days. I’m tired. I have an all day volunteer session on Saturday, too.

I tried reflexology as part of my attempts to get a handle on my pain, and there has been improvement and the hope for much more. I’m holding off on any pain management this weekend because it will just be too difficult to fit it in due to an all day volunteer engagement. I don’t want my pain relief to stress me out.

I still love Earnest and credit them with my ability to conquer some of this debt.

How is your August starting out?

  • Hope you can catch up on rest after your volunteer work! 🙂

August is going well. We’re really busy–I’m thankful for the work.

    • Me too! Thank you.

I’m so glad to hear it. Some types of busy are really wonderful.

  • Mrs. Groovy

Sounds like you’re juggling a lot. I hear you on dental pain and back pain. I’m in the middle of a dental implant and other teeth are on a “watch”. I’ve always had lower back pain. Then about six months ago my shoulder began hurting. I refuse to go to PT because I don’t want to be on a schedule of appointments. I made a play list from YouTube from a PT site, a yoga site and a gym site. In total I do a 15 minute shoulder routine almost every morning. I think, though, you have a more severe case of pain than I do. I hope it subsides.

  • Hoping for the best on your recovery. Also great job putting in those work hours, it will definitely help you later down the road. I’m rooting for you both financially and health wise!

    • Thanks on all accounts. It was definitely exhausting, but not as exhausting as working when I’m 70, I hope.

  • Congrats on another high net worth. You are really working hard to make it higher – good job. I hope your pain gets better soon. August is very busy for us, but will be for the next 2+ years with full time job, blog + further education. It’ll be worth it though 🙂

    • Thanks! It’s still a really negative net worth. Hopefully I can keep up and accelerate it’s growth towards $0. That’ll be quite a day!

I hope that you get enough rest during August while pursuing all your goals. Thanks for reading.
